Composition: Each vial contains: Doxycycline Hyclate (Sterile) USP Eq. to Doxycycline 100mg Storage: Store cool & dry place below 25°C. Protect from light. Retain in Carton until time of use: Reconstituted solutions must be stored and used as prescribed. They must be used within the time periods as described. Protect solution from direct sunlight during infusion. 1. To prepare a solution containing 10 mg/ml, the contents of the vial should be reconstituted with 10 ml sterile water for Injection IP. 2. Than above solution is further diluted with 5ml Ascorbic Acid Injection IP. included with this pack. 3.Each 100 mg of Doxycycline (ie. withdraw entire solution from the 100 mg vial) is further diluted with 100 to 1000 ml of the Intravenous solution listed below: A.0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection IP B. 5% Dextrose Injection IP This will result in desired concentrations of 0.1 to 1mg/ml. Concentrations lower than 0.1 mg/ml or higher than 1 mg/ml are not recommended.
